Decomposing Trees

Wow. The day I've been waiting for is almost here. Tomorrow afternoon I fly out North America for a ten week adventure covering the Northeastern United States, Ontario, Quebec and California.

To be honest, I've been feeling somewhat under prepared, mainly for New York City. Just the idea of New York is immense in my mind, mainly from all the preconceptions that have built up over time. I've mainly been thinking about New York (and Montreal) and not anywhere else as much. Still, I'm sure it will be memorable no matter what happens and there will be many photos of everything. I'm not exactly sure how regularly I will be posting from now until mid-January but I plan to try to recap what I have been doing and review shows I've gone to on a semi-regular basis.

Anyway, as promised here ares my Top 25 songs of 2007.

1. Architecture In Helsinki - Heart It Races

As soon as I heard this song I knew this would be the song of the year. Completely infectious.

2. The Go! Team - Grip Like A Vice

Another great tune from The Go! Team that makes you want to jump and dance along.

3. New Buffalo - Misery and Mountains, Arrows and Bows

A perfect ending to Somewhere, Anywhere

4. Arcade Fire - Keep The Car Running

My favourite song from Neon Bible. After hearing it for the first time it went onto repeat.

Who doesn’t love a song that starts with whistling?
