New York I Love You

Out of all the parts of that sprawling giant that is New York City, my favourite place had to be Lower Manhatten.
Wandering around the neighbourhoods south of Union Square, I could just get a feel for that part of New York that is synonymous with history, art and culture. It's hard to believe in such a small part of an island, there can be so much diversity crammed in.
I spent one day walking from the Chelsea Hotel through Greenwich Village to Red Square in the Lower East Side (yep that's a statue of Lenin). As I took everything in, it truly hit me that nowhere could compare to New York City. This amazing place is one of a kind.
