Decomposing Trees

It's been a fairly relaxing ANZAC Day Long Weekend. I've needed one after having a busy few weekends where I haven't been able to catch up on rest.

I had contemplating going to the dawn service in Canberra but that didn't happen. However, I did go to a local social club to witness Two Up being played. The best way to describe it all was the atmosphere of a football match meets something like the floor of a stock exchange.

I also finally had my belated housewarming (belated since I moved in my place in early February). It was a bit more of an intimate affair since a fair few people headed home for the long weekend but I prefer it that way (and I'm not sure that 50 people would have been able to fit into the apartment)
