Decomposing Trees

While Vampire Weekend will probably be THE 'indie' band this year, I'm sure that L.A. noise pop duo No Age will also be up there as one of the up and coming bands of 2008.

They've only released a few EPs (handily compiled together by FatCat Records as Weirdo Rippers) but they've been getting some hype around the place and have even contributed to Stereogum's tribute to Bjork, covering 'It's Oh So Quiet.'

Anyhow, they'll be releasing their debut album Nouns on Sub Pop in May which I'll be looking forward to after hearing Weirdo Rippers.
