My Top 10 Albums of 2008
Since it's December, it means that it's end of year lists time again. Sean and Ro have both started on their albums list so I figured I should as well.
Unlike last year, my top three albums of 2008 were clear. My No.1 album was ahead of everything by a mile. I did have to take a bit more time to figure out the rest of my Top 10 however.
1. TV On The Radio - Dear Science
After I listened to this album for the first time I knew it would be my favourite album of the year.2. Spiritualized - Songs in A&E
There's a element of fragility to this album that grabs your attention. I'm especially excited about seeing Spiritualized in January.3. Be Your Own Pet - Get Awkward
It's a shame they've broken up but at least they finished on a high note releasing a fast paced and energetic album.4. Pivot - O Soundtrack My Heart
5. The Grates - Teeth Lost, Hearts Won
6. Sigur Rós - Með suð í eyrum við spilum endalaust
7. The Lucksmiths - First Frost
8. Portishead - Third
9. M83 - Saturdays=Youth
10. Wolf Parade - At Mount Zoomer
I'll have my top songs list up later this week and hopefully my top concerts list up sometime in the next fortnight.
